Money and clean technologies have two things in common here in the US- the color green.  In spite of the recession talk, the funding still continues, with Fat Spaniel closing $18M for their Series B round of funding today.  Fat Spaniel offers performance monitoring systems for renewable energy providers and users, with over 800 installed users and customers including Wal-Mart, Staples and more. 

In spite of all of the looming economic fears, there will continue to be a market for efficiency products involving existing and improved technologies.  In fact, economic crises should only make the market for efficiency products stronger: under tight budgets, every client should make sure the systems are performing at or above expectations.  Performance monitoring of energy systems is only one of the many areas that will continue to grow.
