Green Leaf Report

 At what point did our culture stop respecting anything free?  How many people have kept their air conditioner running on nights that are cooler outside than the air conditioner is set on inside?  Who among us has put clothes in the automatic drier when it’s 80 degrees outside (or even warmer)? Which vendors keep bright lights burning throughout their store when it’s sunny outside?

This last point brings me to a company I just read about: Ciralight.  This small business makes sun-tracking skylights that allow a single-story building to naturally light its interior during daytime hours.  What an amazing concept!  I would love to work in any building with naturally sunlit interiors; I would love to shop in these areas, and I would love to see more companies adopt this technology.  Now, for our next step, can we run our computers on solar panels powered by the sunlight brought in through the skylights?
