Doing an internet search on ‘global warming hoax’ brings in over a million results. I thought I’d add this post to those future search results. Arctic ice is melting- no, I haven’t actually gone out myself and measured the ice every year to see how much smaller the glaciers have become. I guess the NASA photos of the melting ice require some faith in NASA (as do the photos of the first man on the moon, but I don’t want to get sucked into that fools debate.)
But really, humanity can cause all sorts of fantastic events, from splitting atoms to flying through the air (on purpose). Why not affect the climate? Why does it seem so unrealistic to think mankind can cause an imbalance in the earth’s natural state? I’d be more shocked if 6 billion humans had no long-term effect on the planet. That said, how do we make sure the behavior of humanity doesn’t destroy all of the other inhabitants of this planet? That’s the real topic for debate.
