It can be a fine line between calling the public to action and scaring the willies out of everyone. Professor James Lovelock leans a little toward the latter when he projects that climate change will cause a dramatic reduction in the world’s human popluation, as well as the populations of sea life and plant life in the upcoming century.  I agree with him that global warming is too cozy of a term, but I sure hope he’s wrong about the impact of climate change, and that it’s too late to recover.
