Green Leaf Report

I’m proud that one of our two Texas senators is a woman, but it looks like Kay Bailey Hutchinson may need to get some better aides.  A friend of mine was in a grass-roots mood and recently wrote a letter to Kay Bailey asking her to help support alternative fuel sources.  My friend received a reply; it said that Kay and team were looking into alternative fuel sources in Alaska.  It had the Kay Bailey rubber stamp signature on the bottom, but I’m going to assume she wasn’t involved in the writing of that letter.  Kay, say it isn’t so!  Here’s a tip for your team: alternative fuel sources are wind, sun, ethanol and whatever else we can creatively and sustainably use.  Oil from another state does not qualify.  And why can’t we source our electricity locally anyway?  Here in Texas we have plenty of wind and sun….let’s use it!
