I wear my dressy suits to work, dressing business appropriately and conservatively. But I’m in a cleaning conundrum; I need to dry-clean the structured suits, but the dry-cleaning chemicals are so strong it makes me nervous. I know there are better options, such as silicon based cleaners http://www.greenearthcleaning.com/. Unfortunately, the only cleaner I can find in my home city is about 25 miles from where I live. Is it better to spend the gas to drop off and pick up my clothes (50 miles per round trip, for two round trips) or wear clothes that smell like strong chemicals? Or maybe I should change my wardrobe and risk the future promotions? It’s hard to be green in a suit.
